Topperly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

⚠ DRAFT — pending review by a qualified lawyer before public launch. This is a working template, not final legal advice. (India DPDP Act, 2023.)

1. Who we are

Topperly ("we", "us") is a CBSE Class 12 exam-practice app. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. Questions: support@topperly.app.

2. What we collect

3. Optional analytics

If you opt in, Topperly uses Google Analytics 4 to measure anonymous page views. We disable advertising signals and do not send answers, scores, study content, or a Topperly user ID. You can decline when prompted or turn Usage analytics off in Settings at any time. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms.

4. AI grading

When you submit work for grading, the text/image is sent to a third-party AI model (Google Gemini) to produce a practice estimate. Grades are AI-generated and may be wrong — they are not official CBSE results. We do not sell your study data.

5. Children & parental consent

Many of our users are under 18. Under India's DPDP Act, we require verifiable parental consent before a minor's grading features are unlocked, and we do not knowingly use a minor's data for behavioural tracking or advertising. A parent/guardian may contact us to access or delete their child's data at any time.

6. How long we keep data & your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing support@topperly.app.

7. Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change, with a new "last updated" date.
